Best Products For Glowing Skin This Autumn

The October coldness is beginning to set in. Which means it's time to rely on some of my fail-safe products that work as something of a reset button for Autumnal skin. These are a few potions that work their magic when my skin is feeling a little more dull and dry than usual.

First up, I've been using the Body Shop's Instaglow CC Cream for a well needed dose of glowy-ness in the morning. This product is more of a base layer before foundation or concealer. I like that it has an SPF 20 included as an added benefit - I'm trying to work an SPF into my skincare regime, so this product works as a great all-in-one. There are so many glow creams on the market these days (I'm slowly working my way through several), but this one is definitely a favourite. Mixed with their drops of glow (pictured below) they give your skin a lovely dewy finish.

I'm completely obsessed with The Ordinary's Salicylic Acid treatment at the moment, after visiting their store in Covent Garden. Don't worry it's not painful as the name would suggest, you just dab a few drops onto any problem areas and it helps to treat spots or acne. It's a great product to keep your skin clear generally and it's become a bit of a hero product of mine. I'm using it everyday at the moment and love it!

I can't do a skincare post without mentioning Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream. I love this cream because it's really rich, which is ideal if you suffer with dry skin in the colder months like me. A little goes a long way with this and it's the perfect base layer for hydrating your skin the morning. I've noticed having a good cream can really make a difference to your skin's 'glowy-ness' in the colder months. I don't have particularly sensitive skin so I can't attest for it's sensitivity, but I do know the brand uses all natural ingredients. It's an all-in-all great product and I'm sure you will love it as much as I do.
