Where To Find The Best Brunches In London

Best places to go for brunch in London

The Ivy

Avocado, poached eggs, salmon, and endless amounts of fresh coffee, The Ivy is a strong contender in London's brunch scene. It has an old school glamour feel to it, claiming to be a firm fixture in London's dining since 1917. The restaurant is plush with white table clothes and ivory crockery, all very fancy.  The food was seriously good - it tasted even better than it looks - and that's saying a lot because it looks damn tasty.

Aviary, Finsbury Square

Located five minutes from Moorgate tube station lies one of London's new rooftop restaurants, Aviary.  I feel pretty lucky to have a job I love - as part of my role in public relations, we hold regular brunches with bloggers to get to know each other and discuss some of our clients. We enjoyed smoothies, avocado, bacon and a good natter with Millie Cotton and Sophie Louise. Aviary is on my hot list largely due to it's beautiful setting - it offers great views of London and I can see it really coming to life in summer.

Farm Girl | Portobello Road

This is one of my absolute favourite places and well worth saving a Sunday morning for. Think vegan, healthy food but super tasty. Farm Girl has a holistic and healthy approach to eating, offering inventive and delicious ways to enjoy naturally nourishing food. The cafe also has a stylish exterior that you fall in love with - definitely one to check out.

Aqua Shard | The Shard

With legendary views of London, Aqua Shard is an easy sell. Their buffet breakfast was exceptional and offered everything from a full English, to granola and croissants. Stocked with plenty of healthy goodies too, it's a great spot for any vegans or veggies. Not on the cheap side, but it's a spot well worth saving the pennies for.

 Grain Store | Kings Cross

Last but certainly not least, Grain Store has made it's mark as one of London's best brunch spots. Be sure to try the Bruno Power breakfast - it was heavenly. The restaurant really focuses on crafting original dishes with lots of flavour - this is great spot for any foodies (like myself). The restaurant also offers a large outdoor seating area that is lovely in the summer.
